May a silver sliver of moonlight

repose upon your dreaming eyes

and bring you peaceful sleep.

Lie still mind and heart.

Like the moon,

Reflect, and remember

The sweetness

And the joy

Of yesterday’s sunshine.

Dreaming of your together,

Not your apart

Bathed in the light of the silver moon.
