Office Volunteer Info Form 

The Grievers Library is planned as an accessible public resource to support the needs of individuals grieving the death of a loved one. The  Grievers Library will launch this May to provide free grief-related books and internet resources for bereaved children, teenagers, and adults in five dedicated Book Boxes around Seattle.

OFFICE VOLUNTEER ROLE:

  • Clean up used books – remove old labels and tape

  • Label all books –  add donor labels and Grievers Library stickers

  • Apply catalog stickers – to book bindings for EZ patron selection

Office volunteers are welcome to come in pairs – we have room for 2 at one time.

OFFICE VOLUNTEER SHIFTS:

3-hour shifts:      10am to 1pm | 1pm to 4pm

Weekdays:        Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday (am & pm)
Weekend:          Saturday & Sunday  (pm only)

Office volunteers who stay all day receive lunch at noon and tea at 4pm.
Consider making a commitment for a weekly or bi-monthly shift.
